About Aimee
A writer first, I am a mixed-media artist who came to visual art-making later in life. I am driven by curiosity and infuse my work with humor or at least irony. For me, making art is a purely expressive endeavor, usually joy-filled improvisation, but sometimes a medium for conveying ideas or feelings that are difficult to put into words. My projects range widely from prints, to collage/assemblage pieces, animations and photos. I am also a screenwriter and actress and currently in the throes of bringing all of these pieces together on a joint art/film project with the Deadbeat Players for... autochthounous+films.
